After rereading worst, i thought about zettons speech about a suzuran student 4 or 5 years ahead of him that left as a sophmore and was killed by yakuza.

In crows zero, some importance is given to washio gota in both movies as a sophmore yet is never seen as a senior in crows like bandou and rindaman. also he wasnt hesitant to commit arson or murder with his fire and knife stunts in CZII. and on top of that he's be about 4 years older than zettons crew.

its possible that washio was said dead guy but i doubt it since he seemed to change his ways and settle for being a nobody when genji took him back so my guess is that since he was a nobody he was never mentioned (remember crows came out and finished before the films so he was probably a movie only character)

well washio was just a scrub to progress a plotline like say the guys amachi beat to face hana quicker then just going through them after school

i completely agree, i just think with all the cross over character usage worst did and the gaiden (vol.6) with crows characters, it woulda been an incredibly rare but crazy possibility
